"Wallabies Gone Wild” was a mass participation art event held on the Isle of Man over 14 weeks from 24 May - 1 September 2019. Hosted by Hospice Isle of Man in association with Wild in Art 'Wallabies Gone Wild' saw the island brought to life by a mob of beautifully designed wallaby sculptures, painted by local and national artists. The large wallaby sculptures were also joined by a series of smaller wallababy sculptures designed and painted by local school children.

I was delighted to be selected to design & paint a Large wallaby! Here he is before I got started. Little Olive the dog for scale!

All the large Wallaby Sculptures were sold in a very exciting public auction event at the end of the project, the Hospice raised an incredible 250k through wallaby sales!

My wallaby design was based on my community project Balley Cashtal Beg, Click here to learn more it!

You can play the hunt for the REAL Fairy Wallaby game by clicking here, and following the clues around Castletown, starting in Market Square. See if you can find the miniature wallaby sculpture!
