I love to find old, unloved, or damaged paintings & prints. I repair them and add new elements to make them loved again. The additions are painted on a separate layer so the paintings could be easily restored if desired.
I try to make the new elements fit in perfectly with the existing art. I love scrutinising found pieces & imagining what else could be happening in the scene. This type of work has proved very popular, I particularly enjoy taking on commissions where clients provide me with a piece an ask me to add to it’s story
Here are some of my favorite past pieces! Check out my shop for the current selection of pieces for sale.
